- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- For the filling, beat the cream cheese until smooth and fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet with space between each cookie.
- Make an indentation in each cookie and fill it generously with the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow to cool before serving.
