Ingredients
- 6 croissants or 1 can crescent roll dough
- 6 slices smoked turkey
- 6 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, provolone)
- 1-2 teaspoons Dijon mustard or aioli (optional)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter or egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Slice each croissant lengthwise without cutting all the way through or unroll crescent roll dough on a flat surface.
- Spread Dijon mustard or aioli on the dough if desired.
- Layer smoked turkey and cheese inside each croissant or on the crescent dough.
- Roll up the croissants or fold the crescent dough to create a sandwich shape.
- Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush tops with melted butter or egg wash.
- Bake for 8-16 minutes until golden brown (13-16 minutes for crescent dough; 8-10 minutes for pre-baked croissants).
- Cool slightly before serving warm.
