- 2 medium ripe bananas
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil (or butter)
- Flaky salt (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Place half of the banana slices on a parchment-lined plate and spread peanut butter on each slice. Top with another slice to form sandwiches.
- Freeze the assembled sandwiches for at least 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each banana sandwich into melted chocolate and return to the plate.
- Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired and freeze again until the chocolate hardens.
