- 100 g / 1/2 cup butter
- 50 ml / 1/4 cup hot whole milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Brown Butter: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until it turns frothy and then brown and aromatic; remove from heat.
- Cook the Potatoes: Peel and quarter the potatoes, boil in salted water until tender, then drain and let steam dry.
- Mash and Combine: Return potatoes to the pot, add hot milk, and mash until smooth. Mix in the brown butter and season with salt.
