Ingredients
- 12 oz twisted pasta (fusilli)
- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced into strips
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Chopped parsley (optional)
- Extra Parmesan (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Season the steak with Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika; sear in the skillet until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt additional butter. Pour in cream and milk while stirring gently. Add cheeses gradually until melted and smooth; season to taste.
- Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, then fold in the steak strips. Serve immediately.
