Ingredients
- 1 box graham crackers (about 12-14 full crackers)
- 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it sit for about two minutes until slightly thickened.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
- In a baking dish, layer graham crackers at the bottom, followed by half of the apple pie filling and then half of the creamy filling. Repeat with another layer of crackers, remaining apple pie filling, and top with the remaining creamy filling.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top layer and sprinkle ground cinnamon if desired.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
