- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup broth (chicken or beef)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Add diced onions to the skillet and sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the meat mixture and stir well. Gradually whisk in broth, then slowly add heavy cream while whisking until smooth.
- Reduce heat to low and mix in Cheddar, Parmesan, and Mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed.
- Toss cooked spaghetti into the sauce until evenly coated and serve hot.
