Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 cup sour cream or dairy-free yogurt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or Swiss)
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with half of the French fried onions and sprinkle cheese evenly on top.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining French fried onions and chopped parsley before serving.
