- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- 3 ripe bananas
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar (½ cup granulated + ½ cup light brown)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour for filling
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease two 9×5-inch loaf pans.
- For the cream cheese filling, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract; fold in flour.
- In a separate bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix in melted butter and both sugars. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; combine with wet ingredients gently.
- Pour half of the batter into each loaf pan, layer with cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
