  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • For cream cheese filling: 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas and whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the banana mixture until just mixed.
  5. For the cream cheese filling, beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Layer half of the banana batter in the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mix and spread half of the cream cheese filling on top. Repeat with remaining batter and swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing.
