  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef, seasoning with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the onions; cook for a minute while stirring. Gradually whisk in beef broth and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar cheeses; stir until thick and creamy.
  6. Add browned beef and cooked linguine to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
