Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the ground beef, seasoning with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté the onion until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions; cook for a minute while stirring. Gradually whisk in beef broth and heavy cream until smooth.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted. Add mozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar cheeses; stir until thick and creamy.
- Add browned beef and cooked linguine to the skillet; toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
