Ingredients
- 1.5 – 2 lbs fresh green beans (trimmed and cut into 2–3″ pieces)
- 1.5 lbs small potatoes (halved)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 1 lb smoked turkey sausage (sliced into rounds)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (divided)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Place halved potatoes in the slow cooker and sprinkle with pepper and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Top the potatoes with the stick of butter.
- Layer green beans and diced onion over the potatoes, then sprinkle with remaining Cajun seasoning.
- Add sliced smoked turkey sausage on top.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 6 hours, stirring gently once each hour.
- Before serving, adjust seasoning to taste and keep on Warm setting until ready to enjoy.
