Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth and cornstarch until smooth. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes; mix well.
- Place seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour sauce over it. Sprinkle sun-dried tomatoes on top.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours until chicken is tender.
- In the last 30 minutes, add butter to melt into the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
