Ingredients
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian Rolls
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
- Fresh fruit (for serving)
- Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Whisk together the eggs and half and half in a mixing bowl until fully blended. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
- Poke holes in each roll using a toothpick to help absorb the custard. Dip each roll into the mixture, coating all sides for about 30 seconds.
- Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook soaked rolls for 30-60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm with powdered sugar, fresh berries, and maple syrup.
