  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cherries (pitted and quartered)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8½-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, Greek yogurt, buttermilk, melted butter, vanilla extract, almond extract, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt; sift into the wet ingredients and blend briefly.
  4. Toss pitted cherries in cornstarch and fold into the batter along with sliced almonds. Reserve some for topping.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and garnish with reserved cherries and almonds.
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
