  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt

  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak strips for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  4. Reduce heat and add butter and garlic to the skillet; cook until fragrant.
  5. Return steak to the skillet to coat in garlic butter.
  6. In another pan, melt butter with olive oil, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and milk; simmer before adding cheeses until melted.
  8. Combine cooked linguine with the cheese sauce. Serve topped with steak strips.
