- 450g lean ground beef
- 30g butter
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 230g brown mushrooms, minced
- 30g ketchup
- 240ml beef broth
- 8g cornstarch
- 225g provolone cheese
- 6 brioche chicken hamburger buns
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef for about one minute without stirring. Break it into smaller pieces once browned and remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté diced onions, bell peppers, and minced mushrooms until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix beef broth, cornstarch, ketchup, salt, and pepper until smooth; add to the skillet with vegetables.
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes to thicken sauce; return beef to skillet and combine well.
- Stir in provolone cheese until melted; set aside.
- Butter and toast brioche buns until golden brown.
- Fill each bun with the creamy beef mixture and serve hot.
