Ingredients
- 1 pound beef belly (skinless, sliced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (finely chopped)
- 3 tablespoons Korean red pepper paste (gochujang)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 small onion (thinly sliced)
- 4 green onions (cut into lengths)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ginger, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Coat the beef belly slices with the marinade and let them sit for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated beef in a single layer. Sear until crispy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add sliced onion and green onions to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until onions are soft.
- Remove from heat, serve hot topped with toasted sesame seeds and extra green onions if desired.
