- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb / 450g)
- 8 oz (225g) penne or fusilli pasta
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, season with salt, and cook until golden brown.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in honey and black pepper; let bubble briefly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, add the drained pasta along with some reserved water to loosen the sauce, and mix well.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
