Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas with melted butter. Stir in beaten egg, vanilla extract, and sugar until smooth.
- Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture. Gently fold in flour until just combined; avoid over-mixing.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
