Ingredients
- 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sumac
Instructions
- Wash all vegetables thoroughly.
- Shred the cabbage and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Grate the carrots and add them to the bowl.
- Dice the bell pepper and cucumber; mix them in.
- Chop the parsley finely and add it to the salad.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sumac.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently until fully coated.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to meld flavors.
