  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 green onion
  • ½ tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, reserving the chunks.
  2. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then sauté in oil over medium heat until browned.
  3. Combine soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and reserved pineapple chunks in a bowl; pour over chicken.
  4. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until sauce thickens.
