Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare an 8×5 loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Incorporate buttermilk, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
