  • 250 g cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 70 g strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry filling by cooking strawberries, sugar, and water over medium heat until soft and syrupy. Let cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix melted butter, oil, sugars, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed; divide into pans.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool in pans before transferring to racks.
