- 2 lbs ripe strawberries
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 2/3 cup old-fashioned oats
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
- In a large bowl, mix diced strawberries with corn starch, sugar, and orange juice.
- Pour the strawberry mixture into an appropriate baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the strawberries.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
