- ½ cup fresh strawberry puree
- Optional: 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest, powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter with granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet batter until just combined.
- Divide dough; mix matcha into one half and strawberry puree into the other.
- Place both doughs side by side on parchment paper; gently fold together for marbling.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice chilled dough into rounds and place on lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10–12 minutes or until edges are set.
