Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sago pearls
- 2 lbs strawberries (washed and stems removed)
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons condensed milk (adjustable)
- 1 cup coconut milk (whole fat chilled)
- Chopped strawberry pieces (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, boil water and cook sago pearls until transparent (about 15 minutes), stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let sit covered for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Strain cooked sago and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Set aside.
- Blend strawberries with evaporated milk and condensed milk until smooth. Chill while preparing other components.
- Drain excess water from sago and combine it with chilled coconut milk and blended strawberry mixture in a large bowl.
- Spoon into serving cups and garnish with chopped strawberries.
