- ⅓ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 tablespoons almond butter or alternative nut/seed butter
- ½ tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon coconut oil
Instructions
- Prepare the apples by cutting them into ¼-inch thick slices and coring them.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, almond butter, and maple syrup until well mixed.
- Place the coconut almond mixture on each apple slice and set them on parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Drizzle over each apple slice.
- Chill the assembled Apple Samoas in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes before enjoying.
