- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
- 1 tsp espresso powder
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together eggs, sour cream, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan halfway with batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth; dip each cooled donut into the glaze.
