- 2 1/4 cups flour

- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5 tbsp butter (melted and cooled to room temperature)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup strawberries (hulled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces)
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- 5 oz chocolate bar
- 1 tsp vegetable oil (optional, for drizzling consistency)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing or lining it with paper liners.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in sugar, melted butter, sour cream, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients using a rubber spatula until just combined; gently fold in strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin cup about two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
