Ingredients
- 175 grams butter
- 90 grams caster sugar
- 150 grams flour
- 50 grams cornflour
- Zest of 1 orange
- 75 grams chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and caster sugar using a whisk until light and fluffy.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cornflour, and orange zest. Gradually add this dry mix to the creamed mixture, stirring gently until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 0.5 cm thickness and cut out shapes using a cookie cutter. Place on the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden at the edges. Cool on the tray briefly before transferring them to a wire rack.
