Instructions
- In warm milk, dissolve yeast and sugar; let it froth.
- Whisk together eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and food coloring. Combine with yeast mixture.
- Mix flour and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough for 5–7 minutes until smooth; let it rise for about an hour.
- Prepare filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly and roll tightly.
- Cut into 12 pieces and place on a baking sheet; allow for a second rise of 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Make frosting by beating together cream cheese and butter; add powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
