- 1 English cucumber
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayo, minced dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Peel the cucumber in stripes and slice it into thin rounds (about 1/8-inch thick).
- Trim the crusts from the bread slices to create neat squares.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread.
- Layer with several cucumber slices and add a sprinkle of pepper and extra dill if desired.
- Top with another slice of bread and press gently. Cut into triangles or squares.
