  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: Makes about 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for ganache)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel)
  • 1 cup toasted almond slivers
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press firmly into an 8×8-inch pan and chill for 10 minutes.
  2. Create the ganache by melting dark chocolate with heavy cream and butter in a heat-proof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth, then add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Cool until thickened.
  3. For the caramel, melt granulated sugar over medium-high heat until amber. Whisk in cubed butter and slowly add heavy cream while whisking continuously. Add sea salt flakes and set aside to thicken.
  4. Toast almond slivers in a skillet until fragrant. Combine with pretzels and toffee bits; reserve for topping.
  5. Assemble by pouring ganache over the chilled crust, spreading evenly. Drizzle warm caramel on top and sprinkle with the crunch mix. Chill for at least one hour until firm.
  6. Cut into rectangles using a warm knife and serve.
