Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 8 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp neutral oil for pan frying
- Green onion (green part) for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken stock, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch; set aside.
- Pat chicken thighs dry and coat them with a mixture of potato starch, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown (about 7 minutes per side). Remove from pan.
- Sauté minced garlic and green onions in the same pan until fragrant. Add the prepared sauce and let it thicken slightly.
- Return chicken to the pan; cook until heated through.
- Serve with rice and garnish with green onion tops and sesame seeds.
