  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (for Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (for Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice sweetened dried blueberries (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Blueberry Lemon)
  • 3/4 cup freeze dried strawberries (lightly crushed) (for Strawberry Vanilla)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (or 1/2 teaspoon cardamom) (for Strawberry Vanilla)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Strawberry Vanilla)
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract (for Strawberry Vanilla)
  • 3/4 cup freeze dried apples (or chopped dried apples) (for Apple Cinnamon)
  • 2 tsp cinnamon (for Apple Cinnamon)
  • Pinch of nutmeg (for Apple Cinnamon)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (for Apple Cinnamon)
  • 1/2 cup raisins or finely chopped pecans (for Nutty Raisin)
  • 1/2 cup dried tart cherries (fruit juice sweetened, roughly chopped) (for Cherry Almond)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (for Cherry Almond)
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice (for Cherry Almond)
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract (for Cherry Almond)
  • Optional Additions:
  • 2 scoops 6 tablespoons vanilla collagen or plant-based protein
  • 1.25 ounce package sprinkles or 8 teaspoons
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine rolled oats and ground flax or chia seeds in a mixing bowl. If using spices, add them now.
  2. Stir in nut butter, maple syrup or honey, optional vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Choose your flavor variation and add the specified ingredients for that flavor; mix well.
  4. Portion out the mixture using a cookie scoop or tablespoon. Aim for 18–22 bites depending on size.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
