- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add egg and extracts; mix well.
- Combine baking powder and flour in another bowl; gradually add to wet mixture until incorporated.
- Portion dough onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening slightly into rounds.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool on wire rack.
- For frosting, beat room temperature butter and cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread frosting on cooled cookies and top with fresh fruit.
