- 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 large Onion (diced)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 (15-ounce can) Diced Tomatoes (don’t drain)
- 1 (15-ounce can) Tomato Sauce
- 1/3 cup Tomato Paste
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
- 1-2 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- Black Pepper (to taste)
- 8 ounces Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 2 ounces Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shaved, shredded, or fresh grated)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste.
- Pour in chicken broth and water to reach desired consistency; add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then add bowtie pasta and simmer until al dente.
- Stir in ricotta cheese; top with mozzarella and parmesan before serving.
