- 12 fresh oysters
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- Chopped parsley
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat (about 500°F / 260°C).
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter and add minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped parsley, sea salt, and black pepper; remove from heat.
- Place oysters on the grill with flat sides up, and grill for 2–3 minutes until edges curl.
- Spoon the garlic lemon butter sauce over each oyster and grill for another 1–2 minutes until sizzling.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra parsley.
