Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar for caramel until golden brown. Pour into a baking dish.
- Whisk together eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
- Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water for even cooking.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 50 minutes or until set; check doneness with a knife.
- Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least four hours before serving.
