- 4 black tea bags (or 4 tsp loose leaf)
- 1 large orange (zested and juiced)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Optional: 2 star anises
- Sweetening option: honey or sugar
- Ice cubes for serving
- Fresh orange slices for garnish
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and steep tea bags, cinnamon sticks, and orange zest for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Juice the orange while steeping, then strain the tea into a jug and add the juice.
- Sweeten to taste with honey or sugar.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice with fresh orange slices and optional garnishes.
