- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley (plus more for garnish)
- ½ cup sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease the slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
- Place the chicken at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and dried parsley until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks; stir in sour cream if desired.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles and garnish with extra parsley.
