Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 lb fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Toss steak cubes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sear the steak in a large skillet until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until golden.
- Add chicken broth and bring to simmer; stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth.
- Return steak to the skillet; cover and simmer until tender.
- Cook fettuccine as per package instructions; drain.
- Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce and steak tips until well coated.
