- 2/3 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups ripe strawberries (hulled and halved)
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and generously butter an 8-9 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually add flour and salt, whisking until smooth; strain if needed.
- Arrange halved strawberries in the prepared dish and pour the batter over them.
- Bake for about 1 hour until puffed and golden brown—center should be slightly wobbly.
- Cool on a rack before serving dusted with powdered sugar.
