- 1 head red romaine lettuce
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 1 pint strawberries (sliced)
- 1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese (crumbled)
- 1 cup pecans (chopped)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 whole strawberries (remove caps)
Instructions
- Wash the red romaine lettuce and mixed greens under cold water. Dry thoroughly and tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- Remove caps from the strawberries and slice them. Add them to the mixing bowl with the greens.
- Sprinkle crumbled tomato-basil feta cheese and chopped pecans over the greens and strawberries.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, dried basil, and salt until combined.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Garnish with whole strawberries and extra pecans if desired. Serve immediately for optimal freshness.
