  • 2 cups mixed greens
  • 1 pint strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 6 whole strawberries (remove caps)

Instructions

  1. Wash the red romaine lettuce and mixed greens under cold water. Dry thoroughly and tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Remove caps from the strawberries and slice them. Add them to the mixing bowl with the greens.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled tomato-basil feta cheese and chopped pecans over the greens and strawberries.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, dried basil, and salt until combined.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  6. Garnish with whole strawberries and extra pecans if desired. Serve immediately for optimal freshness.
