Ingredients
- 8 ounces manicotti shells
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 26 ounces pasta sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook manicotti shells in salted boiling water for about 8-10 minutes until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, garlic, egg, and basil until well mixed.
- Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
- Spread half the pasta sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells on top and cover with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
